In NA, i feel like that is a major contributing factor to the steady decline of both games. ![]() 1.6 players always hated source players, and source players always hated 1.6 players. Thats actually something that i've been really worried about. The constant flame wars and crying between CSS and 1.6 fans was way worse than the SC2 / BW fans. Used to play with my clan on several ladders in EU, Enemydown, clanbase etc. ![]() That money thing probably could have killed it but luckily that got removed. It's true at launch the bullet reg was terrible on source, but it's been patched and improved dramatically. Played every iteration of Counterstrike, even the Xbox version. I played a lot of source way back when, before warcraft ruined me. They've been building the Promod for 4-5 years, still not released. It had the graphics of source but the game play was almost exactly like 1.6.
